Paul R. Oliveira, CPA

Paul began his career in public accounting at an Attleboro firm, Holden, Cotta & Swenson.  He advanced to a partner in the firm Cotta, Swenson & Oliveira and joined Castro, Thresher & Oliveira, PC as a principal/shareholder in 2001.  Paul has worked in the greater Attleboro area his entire career and serves a multitude of individual tax clients and small business clients in southeastern MA and Rhode Island. 

Paul received both his undergraduate degree in accounting and his Masters in Taxation (MST) from Bryant College (now Bryant University) as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Providence College.

Paul has served his community in a number of ways.  In addition to serving as accountant and auditor to a number of non-profit organizations Paul is active in the Rotary Club and served as its president.  Paul has also served on the board of a number of organizations and is currently on the board of the ARC of Bristol County. 

He is currently a member of the AICPA, RICPA, &  MSCPA and he is licensed as a CPA in the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Paul loves to golf and enjoys racquetball and even earned his pilot's license.  Other memberships include the NRA, Highland Country Club, Ducks Unlimited and the YMCA.  He is a former justice of the peace and a current Notary Public.
